Riders of Fire and Ice by Brett Salter

Hello guys. So today I’m reviewing a book I read recently. It’s a Fantasy mixed with YA. I enjoyed reading this and currently I’ve added book 3 to my TBR shelf. Already reviewed book one last month. You can read it here. Without further ado, let’s get on to the review!

BLURB

They’re back! Julian and Rome are taking their show on the road. This time it is to lovely old England in search of Camelot. While there the Knight and Dragon will be trying to solve the mystery of the Talismans, the mystery of their shadowy stalker and the mystery of sibling rivalry. Prepare to meet some new faces and, of course, some new Darkbrands as the two further their adventures across the pond.

I read the book One some months ago and I’ve been dying to read this. It continued exactly from where book 1 stopped. I love how Rome and Julian developed their powers, they are so free with it and have learnt how to control and use it. New characters emerge in the form of Krysta and Camela who is Julian’s sister. They make a very good duo and just like Rome and Julian, they have performed somewhat of the great Synergy on their own. I was surprised to discover that Krysta is an ice dragon! How cool. I loved the hilarious dialogues between Camela and Julian which always ends up with Julian getting kicked by Krysta and her Taekwondo skills.

More surprises in this book for me. Mrs Case like I guessed was not ordinary, just not how I envisioned her to be. I found myself liking her character towards the end. She’s just a victim like many others. I love how they all teamed up to fight the demon even though they have a lot more to do in order to stop the world from being infested by the Tyrant king and his minions. Oh and also to avoid them being targets! I’d reallly love for there to be a third book in this series 😍
