Hello guys!
Qotd: What’re you currently reading?
I’m still on First Past The Post by S. J Garland and I’m almost done. Next up will be The Housemaid by Sarah Denzil InshaAllah.Â
In other news, I stumbled upon this amazing tag from Kristen’s page two months ago and I decided to have a go at it. Check out her page! Anyone is welcome to try it too!

The Last Book I Gave Up On
Â

First Past The Post by S. J Garland. I didn’t like the horseracing stuff which is the main theme of the book. The characters and dialogue were amazing so I just had to skim read the explanation parts. I almost gave up on it but, well, normally even when a book doesn’t vibe with me, I must finish it no matter what.Â

Last Book I Re-read
Â

The Virtuous Woman by Zaynab Alkali. Oh how I love this book. I have read it a couple of times and most recently, I read it again. Everytime I read this book, I feel as if I’m reading it for the first time. It is just so interesting and makes me feel nostalgic every single time. It makes me remember the first time I read it, many years ago.Â
Â
Last Book I Bought
Â

Girls Of Riyadh by Rajaa Alsanea. Bought it at the airport and it was a really good read. Didn’t disappoint.
Â
Last Book I Said I Read But Actually Didn’t
Nope. I’ve never done this. Thank God!
Â
Last Book I Wrote in the Margins Of
Â

I think I did a long time ago. And it was in A Farewell To Arms by Ernest Hemingway. I was so young, I can’t believe I did that!Â
Â
Last Book That I Had Signed
Nah. I don’t have any signed book.Â
Â
The Last Book I Lost
I lost a bunch of book at the airport years ago and it still hurts. They were some of my favourite books, which I really adored. I still believe I’ll get them back one day InshaAllah.
Â
The Last Book I Had to Replace
A couple of books. But mainly because they were battered from reading over and over again.Â
Â
The Last Book I Argued Over
Â

Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Adichie. I argued with my aunt over Kambili’s dad. I believe what her mom did to the dad was of course, not good, but I understand why she did what she did. But my aunt doesn’t! We still argue about it sometimes.Â
Â
The Last Book You Couldn’t Find

Sons and Daughters by J. C. De Graft. It was one of the books I lost and I searched for it everywhere but unfortunately couldn’t find it.Â
